NPW Electrical was set up to fill a gap in the domestic market, which was being left short by other companies. The gap was for a tradesman whose first priority was "The Customer". A need for a professional who would complete all aspects of the installation to a high standard in FULL compliance with current requirements of Regulations and Safety and then clean up after ourselves. If it were not good enough for my own home then it would not be good enough for my customers.
 
NPW Electrical staff have over 20 years experience of electrical installations, BS 7671: 2004 (formerly known as The IEE Wiring Regulations) and customer service.
 
We have always used High Quality reliable materials on all our installations because we believe that no business can survive by fitting cheap accessories that always go wrong. The only phone calls that we receive from past customers are to ask us to carry out more work for them, never complaints.
 
In order to be able to guarantee the high standards of our work and materials we cannot guarantee being the cheapest. NPW Electrical is a company "Who would rather explain the price of QUALITY than eat a big portion of humble pie apologising for something less".
 
We gained approval by the Fair Trades Advisory Bureau in 1996. My wealth of experience enables me to offer good sensible, honest advice to potential customers and enable me to find and locate problems and faults on domestic / small commercial wiring quickly and efficiently.
 
We have now completed over 2200 jobs in our 15 years in business. I have printed on the reverse a sample of actual testimonials received from our customers. Copies available for viewing if requested. We have built a reputation to be proud of and I intend to ensure that our reputation never gets damaged by continuing to maintain the high standards.
 
In 2001 we gained approval by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NIC EIC) after putting off our application for several years.
 
We were added to the roll of approved contractors first time due to all our jobs for the previous 6 years carrying certificates as required by regulations.
 
Some of our competitors considered the certificate to be unnecessary paperwork but with effect from 1st January 2005 it is now a Criminal Offence under the new amended Building Regulations (known as Part "P") for non-registered electrical installers to carry out certain types of Electrical Installation work in Domestic properties.
 
The issuing of certificates by competent installers is now a mandatory requirement. The certificate has become a necessary evil due to now living in a litigation society we all have to be able to prove 100% that our work is safe and that it has been installed professional and competently.
